Creative Arts
Our Creative Arts program encourages students from Prep to Year 12 to explore their God-given talents through music, drama, and visual arts.
With opportunities including choirs, instrumental lessons, school musicals, and performances throughout the year, students grow in confidence, creativity, and character.
Whether on stage or behind the scenes, every student is supported to shine and serve with heart, mind, and hand.

Students can join age-based choirs, take instrumental music lessons, and perform in ensembles such as band, strings, or percussion groups. These programs provide regular performance opportunities at school and community events, helping students develop their skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Our school musicals are a creative highlight, open to all students with roles in acting, music, dance, and production.
Younger students also enjoy participating in the Junior Christmas Musical, celebrating the season with joyful storytelling and song.

Sport
Sport is a valued part of student life at Dalby Christian College, offering opportunities for participation, personal growth, and skill development. Students can take part in a range of sports including touch football, cricket, basketball, and netball, with competitive teams and pathways for those interested in representative sport. Touch football is especially popular, with teams achieving strong results at the All Schools competitions.

Each year, students compete in major school carnivals—Swimming, Cross Country, and Athletics—which provide pathways to district, regional, and state-level teams. Our campus features one of Dalby’s leading athletics facilities, regularly hosting regional events. Students are also supported to access external sports trials for representative teams across the Darling Downs region.

Our Interhouse competition adds an extra dimension of involvement, with friendly competition across sporting, academic, and creative events such as the Singing Competition, Tug of War, and Bible Quiz. These activities promote teamwork, resilience, and a strong sense of community, allowing every student to contribute and grow.
