WELCOME TO DALBY CHRISTIAN COLLEGE
Welcome to the website of Dalby Christian College. We are a non-denominational, co-educational school which offers a broad range of quality educational experiences taught from a biblical worldview. We have an Early Learning Centre, Prep -Year 12 and secondary boarding, all of which are staffed by experienced and caring Christian teachers.
Our aim is to develop confident, independent and disciplined young people of character and faith that will use their life in the service of God and others. It is exciting to be able to partner and support families in the journey of educating, nurturing and discipling the leaders of tomorrow.
Please explore the website to find out more about the College or contact the office for further information.
Construction of our new boarding house will begin next week. The new facilities will provide accommodation for 32 students. Plans of the new building are available for viewing here.
We have lodged a development application with council for several separate projects:
ELC extension – through our successful application for a $1M Kindergarten grant through the QLD Government we are looking to build a new kindergarten classroom along with a new reception area, and staff areas. This new facility will link with the existing facility and the playground will also be enlarged.
Plans for the ELC Extension are available for viewing here.
Specialist Learning Centre – A new Science Lab and Home Economics classroom is to be built in between C block and the MPC. These new facilities will be significantly larger than the existing facilities and provide specialised equipment to enhance quality learning outcomes in these subject areas.
Plans for this building are available for viewing here.
Primary classroom – A new classroom is to be built onto the current Year 7 classroom along with some small side rooms.
Primary General Learning Plans are available for viewing here.
Carpark upgrade – Car parking has been an issue for some time on Mary St. and we look forward to being able to alleviate this to some extent. A new entrance will be created on the northern side of the existing car park which will be the new entry. The carpark will be extended all the way through to the southern boundary which will be the new exit.
